Hi there, here is a first UOA for my 2008 Mazda 3S GT with 111K miles. The last two oil changes have been with Mobil 1 0W-20 Advanced Fuel Economy, Mobil 1 filter and OEM Mazda filter.

That copper ppm is the only bad news. For an engine with that age and mileage, I'd switch to Valvoline 5w30 full-syn Maxlife (high mileage oil) in a non-cold Seattle environment.

Great report! Low insols, strong flash, strong ending viscosity and tbn, "wear metals" nice and low.

Man if it wasn't for that cooper, this would be an excellent report.

Does this engine spec 0w20 from factory?

it is M3s model so that has the same engine like mine in M6i

Using a UOA to determine wear is never a good idea especially when looking at 13 parts per million.

Yes, as Patman mentioned, factory recommendation is 5w20. I went with 0w20 from earlier recommendations on this forum and currently have Castrol EDGE 0w20 in. Should I switch to 5w20?
