Mixing mobil 1 15w50 / 0w40

If I mix 2qts mobil 1 15w50 & 2qts 0w40 what viscosity would I end up with roughly?

7.5w45 ........ roughly

A quite heavy 40 grade, 15.6cst, with an HTHS of 4.1

Close, but a little thicker than M1 High Mileage 10W40.

I really wanted 10w40 but I dont need the eXtra add pack that comes with mobil high mileage. How does castrol 10w40 compare in high temp turbocharger use?

Wasting your time just use a 5w-40 or 10-w40 grade whatever your vehcile calls for.
