Mixing MB 229.5 and 229.51

Got great deal on 5L jugs of Liqui-Moly 229.5 5w-40 oil. Have quarts of Liqui-Moly 229.51 5w-40. Would it be acceptable to mix 5L of 229.5 with 2L of 229.51 in our 2021 GLE 350?

how many of each do you have? It would be better to stick to one or the other IMO.

If engine accepts 229.5 yes, it's possible, not big problem but they changes a little chemical properties. I'm not big fan of "homemade oil blend".

You'd end up with 229.5028571, right?
Other than Liqui Moly only being rated as an average oil by many that claim to know how to rank oil, it's not going to cause your engine to seize.

As Emily Litella would say, "Never mind." I'm going to order a couple of 5L jugs of Liqui Moly 4110 5w40 229.51 for the Mercedes and use the 229.5 in the 528i.
