Good point Jaymus, here's another thought. Some people take a premium oil like Red Line known for high moly and other goodies. They mix 20%-25%+ into their favorite off the shelf oil to tweak it, and keep costs down. I have a few friends doing just that. Bottom line is what ever makes you happy, I doubt it is going to have any ill effects on the engine.
