For misfire codes and counts to appear, there is a huge juggernaut of variables that are detected, and all the sensors and associated electronics have to be working perfectly together. So really just because there are a few erratic misfire counts here and there that doesn't always mean there is some huge issue, there are so many variables in a running engine, especially in the combustion space, its just not a perfect place for everything to happen PERFECTLY at every cycle, could have been some intake carbon broke off bridged the electrodes, anything like that. Maybe driving conditions caused a surge of sorts, water from fuel, the sensors and programing isn't perfect either, look at all the recalls for programming issues. A few occasional random misfires is a huge nothing burger.
