Maybe a silly question to some, but oh well... I've got this mirror - it's about 3.5ft wide and 2.5 ft tall and weighs about 25 lbs. I want to hang it on a drywall (although I can try to pick studs).
What you see is the top edge of the mirror back. There are no holes or brackets for mounting since it was designed to sit on top of a dresser. The unpainted inner edge is 1/2-inch deep.
So, what hardware would I need to hang it? I'd prefer not to make any holes in the mirror frame. I was thinking of attaching some sharp pointy hooks (if there is such a thing) to the wall. The tips of those hooks would then sink into that unpainted inner edge. Is there a better way that I'm not aware of?
