MIGHTY M500 CUT OPEN

Off of a friends 2018 Ford Explorer with whatever Mighty quick lube used and this filter. Miles on both was 6,000.

Put a FRAM ULTRA and some M1 5w20 in and on.

Yeah, I was surprised. I love the "USA BRAND" on can of filter then "made in Mexico"

Makes me seriously wonder. I have saw tons of mighty filters lately at work and all Made in Mexico. Guess they are NOT purolator made anymore. Took a Nissan sized filter off a Altima today and it had holes instead of louvers

Looks like a Champion filter I got from RA on clearance. Same manufactory?

Looks like a Purolator bypass valve? Maybe they are making them in MX now? Sure looks OK, though!

That's **identical** to all Purolators I see cut open

We use all Mighty filters at the lube shop where I work.
