Metal in oil housing, help with identification.

First this isn't my vehicle. Someone else just posted this off a 24 Hyundai Santa Cruz. In the housing with the metal there are three small washers with 3 holes on one side. What would those be from?

That might be from the oil pump failing or a pressure relief valve coming apart. Something did some chewing on the aluminum housing so it started early in the game. I think the counter balance shafts are in the oil pump housing too so that's another consideration. They're too large to pass through the pickup screen and the only thing between the screen and the oil filter is the oil pump. I'm amazed that such new vehicles have failures like this. Hyundai/Kia needs to stop goofing around.

Those look like molding marks from the casting process of the cap. But wow! The glitter is astonishing! Seems way too much for break-in. Maybe just broke?
