From my project boat, a Century Resorter w/ a 260HP Mercury 5.7V8 inboard. ~20 hrs on Mercury 25w-40.

Filter has fiber end caps, appear to be the same material as the filter. Even, dense pleats, black plastic center tube, anti-drain back valve, no relief valve and an
unusual 2 layer base plate. Canister is not as thick as Mahle/Mann, but not the thinnest I've seen. Replaced with same.

The Mobil 1 M1-111 is a much better filter for the direct replacement, Or a Fram Ultra XG30 . An oversize filter is the Mobil 1 M1-302 or Fram Ultra XG5 .

It's an ecore, and based on pics shown looks ok. This one with no combo valve though, just an adbv. Means engine has a block bypass, same as old older GM vehicles (as xref'd above). 'Imo' an ecore for engine with block bypass, no combo valve, better suited for the job.

Thanks for c&p.
