Just a quick question, if someone could assist...

Are all Mercon V ATFs fully sythetic? I notice some brands, like Valvoline for instance, state "full synthetic" on the label, but others, like Castrol, do not. The prices of all of the Mercon V fluids are pretty similar, so I'm just wondering if they're all fully synthetic (at least among the major brands). Any help will be appreciated.

Have to agree with Titan, blend. I use Amsoil ATF in my B3000, seemed to have really smoothed out. The oil that was in before was Pennzoil. Which was a blend.

None are fully synthetic unless the bottle says so. Besides the boutique brands, some Valvoline bottles are labelled as such. Most as blends, but some mention nothing.
Being full synthetic is not a requirement of Mercon-V.

Thanks, guys. This will help me make my selection.
