Watching an old movie threw me back into memory mode to remember the good old Mercedes single wiper. Here is a good video on the marvel Mercedes mono wiper.

Worked quite well on my '86 300E - only bad I can recall is on high speed it did induce a side to side rocking of the car.

I really liked my '92 300D wiper. Had to come off to replace the blower motor. The whole assembly just lifted out after a couple of screws.

The best wipers I’ve ever seen in action were 1980s-1990s Mercedes wipers, and I’ll say the staggered wiper setup the Japanese use with the driver’s blade being bigger than the passenger side is a close second.

My wife's 2015 Audi A4 has a staggered wiper blade set up, 24/20.

I'm a UPS mechanic and the current gen yard shifter trucks I work on have 1 wiper blade with two wiper arms and a cross link the wiper blade mounts on.
