Had a thought on the drive in today. I over thought it (too much math).
Quick look shows that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer. Men and women exist in roughly the same numbers. If 100% of women develop breast cancer, and 1% of breast cancer cases were men, we could conclude that 1% of men would develop breast cancer (there's some rounding going on in the math, granted). But since the rate is 1 in 8, the incident rate in men would have to be 8 times lower also.
