It was a nice overcast comfortable morning so I decided to wash the dust off the Mustang and give it another coat of wax. I used a Porter cable 7336 buffer on speed four with a microfiber pad.

What did you use to blackout the rims?

Rustoleum 2X semi gloss black. Prep was 320 grit and red scotchbrite pad. Holding up fine.

I highly recommend use of a spray sealer as a drying aide after each wash, now that you have a good base. You can never be too shiny!

I have lots of bases

. I use ICE spray wax or TW wax n dry after every wash. I've been detailing a loooooong time.
