Maxlife is Expensive at AutoZone!

I just happened to be at Lowe's the other day. The packaging of their Kobalt torque wrench (25-to-250 foot-pounds) said distributed by Danaher. It has a one-year warranty like the Sears Craftsman wrench. The $90 or $100 Kobalt has a 90-day calibration guarantee.

The $70 Husky torquer at Home Depot (20 to 150 foot-pounds) claims a Lifetime Warranty on the packaging, but who knows...

All of the above are 1/2-inch ratchets.

Anybody have a Husky torque wrench break, and receive a free repair or replacement? I'm kinda skeptical about its lifetime warranty mentioned on the packaging.

You want expensive Maxlife, go to Napa, $6.35 a quart for the Syn.
