maxlife for my leaky Hyundai?

Funny, I'm going through a similar issue with getting my 2004 Mazda resealed. It's actually back in for the 3rd time in 3 weeks for what was supposed to be fixed the first time. But since I've had it back it still leaks, my coolant started mysteriously disappearing, and it smoked when at operating temp. Before it just leaked. The dealer has it now and said that the oil pan was still leaking and they were going to fix that then investiagte the coolant issue.

So, yes, I would continue to bring it back until it's fixed. I would like to add that the customer service at this dealership has been great and the prices are very competitive. However, the pleasantries need to match up with the product.

I don't want to start a new thread, but I would like opinions. My work commute is 10 miles round trip, plus a 2 mile round trip to my mother's house for my lunch hour. I also make a few 50 mile round trips a month. At this rate, I'm probably driving < 7k miles per year. I would like to do minimum 6 month OCIs. I'm thinking I could get away with yearly, though.

Hyundai says 3750 for sever or 7500 for non severe duty. As Houston has a warm climate, the engine always gets to operating temp.

Pennzoil Platinum PurePlus 5w20 once a year?

If you are still under warranty I'd just do economical conventional oil changes every 6 months with that regime. I believe Hyundai also includes time allowed as well as miles in their schedule, and I think it is 6 months max.
