I've read that the Napa full synthetic oil is just a relabeled Valvoline Synpower. Is there a Napa-brand equivalent of Maxlife?

Napa synthetic is NOT relabeled Synpower. They are both made by Ashland but are different products. Someone on this board did a VOA of both products and Synpower is far more robust.
That would explain why one is cheaper than the other... You get what you pay for, it would look like in this case.
Oh, thanks for clearing that up. I just saw the comparison. Well, is there any non-name brand oil that's similar to Maxlife?
Napa High-Mileage.
I am the one that did the VOA on Synpower and Napa syn 10w-30. I would not say that Synpower is 'far more robust'. I would be inclined to say they are different formulations. I have used both on 5K OCI's and noticed zero differences. I also did UOA's on them and both preformed fine.
Super Tech High Mileage isn't a name brand 
Though you'll get more for your money if you just buy the Maxlife.
