Idling doesn't hurt a car at all. Modern Diesel yes. Gasoline no. Police idle constantly and don't have hour meters go by miles. On my tow trucks we go by hours bc we idle constantly too. Truck runs 18-19 hours continuous out of every 24. Refuels running too. Run all gas units. Doesn't seem to hurt the cop cars and taxies that's for sure.

You should consult ownerships of taxi cab companies. They already know what makes sense in periodical maintenance work & fees


And be sure to tell them you are running an Uber outfit so they can offer the best advice lol!
 
Why would you want to take your whole fleet off the road for oil change on the same day? Spread the maintenance out so each car has one day a month or whatever makes sense.
