Magnetic Socket Rails

WOW!
Yeah, they're pricey indeed. They seem to be very customizable & convenient to bring right to the job at hand & hang anywhere that will make grabbing them quickly. I like that you can stick'em just about anywhere you need to for the quick access. Are you converting over to them?

Best of luck,

I ordered a few for the frequently used 3/8 and 1/2" sizes.

Very nice. Though, not much cheaper than VIM tools ones.

Update:

I purchased 7 rails. Four 12" rails for 3/8" drive, two 16" rails for 1/2" and one 12" rail for 1/2" drive.

I used VIM magrails for my frequently used sockets - 3/8" chrome (short and deep), 3/8" impact (short and deep), 1/2" impact (short and deep, up to 22mm) and for my lug nut sockets. My less frequently used sockets (1/4" drive and large 1/2" drive) are organized using the Tekton/Ernst rails.

The magnets are strong and hold the sockets well. I have no complaints other than the initial setup being a bit tedious (the magnetic bits need to be tightened once you find the desired position).

I highly recommend the VIM magrails if they are in your budget.
