The racing oil provides a substantial boost to ZDDP levels.

The 0W-40 has borated esters and other components that provide additional anti-wear and also extend the life of the oil.

That combination is probably not going to benefit from yet more moly in most applications.

Don't you understand that it's not as simple as just adding something to an oil? More isn't always better. The chemists that make oils spend hours experimenting with the right balance of additives and for anyone to think they can just add something bc "they like it" is ridiculous.

What Mikey said is correct. Additional ZDDP is of no benefit for some engines and the same can be said for molybdenum.
