M1 ESP X3 0W40 vs. M1 Supercar 0W40

I thought the new M1 Supercar was a relabeled version of the ESP X3 0W40.

But after reviewing the data sheets:

GM's version might be a new formula? Or are there multiple flavors of the ESP 0W40 floating around?

I've been confused on this as well. It appears that the ESP 0w40 used in the Vette = Super Car 0w40. The new ESPx3 0w40 has replaced the older ESP 0w40, is slightly thicker with a higher HT/HS and was developed with Porsche in mind?

ESP 0W-40 is different than ESP formula 0w-40 which is also different from ESP X3 0W-40.

I think the GM product is relabeled ESP formula 0w-40.

ESPx3 was made for porshe C40, I believe. Still Dexos2 though. I ordered through autozone bundle deal and they sent me that stuff. It seems even beefier than Super Car.
Supercar is the the same the last ESP (formula) 0w40 that was released

Does the C40 version have the higher P/Zn levels?

The "old" ESP 0W40 did not.

With the AZ deal, you can return the filter and it comes out to $6 a quart for the x3. Going with this for the break in change. The other alternative was Fram 5w-40 (dexos2) from AAP, but it was nearly the same price.

Esp x3 was developed for euro markets that use GPF and last year they starting selling it in the us. Esp 0w40 is supercar 0w40. Esp x3 is different and was developed specifically for c40 with porsche

The M1 ESP x3 is still for sale and an oil developed with Porsche but is also Dexos 2 certified and also a great oil for the c8 Corvette.

Both ESP (aka Supercar) and ESP x3 are obviously emissions component friendly (afrerall the both meet dexos 2) and both approved for cars with gasoline particulate filters and diesel cars as well.

ESP (aka Supercar) has a HTHS of 3.5 while ESP has a HTHS of 3.8.

Yeah but it's HTFS rating is only 2.2.
So your engine will explode the moment you start it.

This has an awfully high VI (204) and so-so HTHS for a 14.1 cSt KV100. I wonder if there is a reason for all the VII? Could it be that this is to meet some kind of Porsche fuel economy directives even though it's a C40 (temporary shear)? It looks decent but the total opposite of some of the newly popular oils here.
