The ESP X3 0-40 has the MB 229.52 and the Porsche C30 but NOT the VW 507 Diesel spec?? On Mobil's site it also says "no retailers found". I buy the ESP 5-30 just for the Audi 507 approval.

VW 507 00 approval does not permit a 40-grade. Which highlights the near stupidity of designating allowed grades in these approvals since the minimum HT/HS is 3.5, same as 502 00 for example. I also don’t believe it has C30 approval either.

Isn't 504/507 always 30 grade while 511 is the equivalent in 40 grade.

That's correct. If the 0W40 X3 is the same formulation as sold in the UK, it has VW 511.00 and Porsche C40 approvals.
