My mom has a Mercury Milan Hybrid from '10. Same thing but I thing they do have some trap doors, but my biggest issue was the severally nicked up drain plug the previous changers just kept reusing rather than replacing for a couple bucks. She doesn't drive much so it's once a year whether it needs it or not...
