I bought a qrt. of M1 10W30 EP for my Honda G190 push mower - should I be good for a whole season for average size 1/4 ~ 1/2 acre yard ?

Typically, mowers specify 50 - 100 hour oil change intervals.

It is easy to figure out your typical use.
Example: My yard is about 1/4 acre. Takes me approximately 45-60mins to cut it. I cut it every week May through October.
6 months x 4 weeks =24 mows. So... I typically use it less than 25 hours per year. Therefore, I change the oil every 1-2 years.

I mowed over 1/2 acre "up nawth here" for ten years with a Honda GCV-160 using M1 10w-30 HM. You should be more than fine with your plan.

That sounds reasonable ... Thanks !

My yard is approx 1/2 acre, I change the Honda 21" self-propelled mower engine oil once per year in the fall just before the end of the cutting season.
