I usually end up switching back and forth between the M1 and Fram XG - every time I have to mangle an XG to get it off I say "that's it I'm putting on an M1." Then when running the M1 I think "that XG's 99+% efficiency at 20microns and wire-backed synthetic media is awesome - why aren't I using that?"

Rinse. Repeat.
