You will get more wear plowing and hauling with a less powerful engine. Makes sense the UOA results will reflect that. I don't think changing from M1 HMO will help. What will help is consistency. Stay with the same oil, changing at specific times, just before plowing season, or just before it gets hot out. 5-6k max per OCI based on your usage. Some people swear by the Oil Filter Magnet

+1 Would get more out of a UOA after a few OCI's with M1 HMO
 
I thought about it and think, If I were you, I would try Rotella 5W40... Tough oil with a very good add pack.

Try it for one or two OCI's and let us know how it works out...
