I typically use M1 0W20 EP in a '20 Corolla for 6,000 miles / 12 months and usually hit 12 months usage first before hitting the 6K mile mark .
M1 0W20 EP is getting harder to find at WM locally (or on line) , so I am considering the switch to M1 0W20 AFE for the same 12 month OCI ... Is this doable in a Corolla or should I just stay with M1 0W20 EP for the 12 month OCI ?

My Corolla runs just fine or a 6000 Mile OCI even though it is older and Toyota say 5000 miles. If you just aren't locked into Mobil one I'd look at this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Quaker-State-Full-Synthetic-0W-20-Motor-Oil-5-Quart/36250522?athbdg=L1100

I just picked up three Jugs of this for the New Mazda!

But where I'm at this always seems to be online have them ship it to you https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mobil-1-...d24-01&athancid=null&athena=true&athbdg=L1300

The Toyota Corolla was new and it is used to run errands around town or go to local school and back.
I ran M1 0W20 EP as being closest to the Toyota motor oil . That said , I think QSUD 0W20 or M1 0W20 AFE are decent oils . I just wasn't sure if a 12 month OCI with non extended drain synthetic drain oils (with less than 5,000 miles) would be ok in the Corolla ? On my vehicles that are driven more I run a 6 month OCI .

? M1 EP 0w-20 isn't anything like TGMO. It's an almost fully PAO-based extended drain oil with very little VII content, while TGMO is a very light Group III based oil with a LOT of VII in it.
I thought Mobil made the TGMO , so I thought it would be similar ?
