Dang, I forgot to look! I just changed mine last weekend, oops! If I go to Walmart again this weekend for groceries, I'll have to cruise over to the oil section and check if I remember.

I was referring to the rest of the M1 lineup which A5/B5 now. Here is the 5w30 PDS for example. Sorry for the confusion!

Jugs should start at least showing SN-Plus soon I would think, as it's on the AFE 0W-30 PDS. And I think legally A1/B1 can't be displayed after a particular date?

Didn't mean to scare anyone. I have oil that says a1/b1. I think it's same as a5/b5. I never paid attention till I joined bitog. My guess is someone wrote too many similar specs and/or paragraphs and it was edited / removed shocked2 First time I read those spec i got confused ... Bottom line is (for me at least): A5/B5 is resource conserving with lower hths a3/b3-b4 are higher hths The rest is noise (I mentioned at least for me) grin2

I'd be very surprised if existing A1/B1 oils weren't reformulated to meet either A5/B5 (or its low SAPS brother C2) very soon - it'd be embarrassing for any company to be trying to sell product in Europe without a current ACEA specification.

@1JZ_E46, @53'Stude, You guys are more of a bitog old-timer than I am and should know better before "buying" or not buying (ie rubbish) something ... shocked2 grin2 btw, I mean that mainly regarding a1/b1 category being removed (my original post). My other post was just summary of a5/b5 vs a3/b3-4 as it relates to me.
