M1 0-40, 1.8k, 2006 STi, E85

i think the part i was missing was that at my normal cold start temps, around 50-60 degress, a 0w oil isn't going to be thinner than say a 10w oil. only at temps well below that will a 0w actually make a difference.
 
Update to thread, new OCI to 3K added, still on full E85. blackstone said it's ok to run to 5k! wow, and I all I hear from people is if you run ethanol you have to change your oil every 1000 miles!! this last OCI was a bit easier driving, not as much high revs and less WOT full boost pulls. the copper came down. does this mean the oil isn't protecting?
