I've gone back and forth on this myself. IMO, the two best UOA's in LS1's on this site were with Mobil 1 5w-30. Both were track times too. Some have said that certain additives really perform when stressed. Maybe this is the case with M1?? You'd have to really look at multiple samples to draw any conclusions. I can tell you that regardless, your not going to wear out these engines on any oil. I still think that Stever Bergin guy is right and that viscosity really only plays a minor role. Here is the other excellent UOA IMO: 1 autocross 1 day at the drags (13 runs) 1 day of track use at Road Atlanta four 30 min sessions. Oil temps where maybe @ 255*f for the highest that day. Yes they are the same UOA. See if this one is big enough to read:  - The other UOA that is posted in this thread is mine as well from a while back. [Big Grin]
