Losing M1 5W-30 while racing

I don't think I can justify going with 15W-50 while racing a few times per year though.
 
My choices for this application, listed in no particular order, would be:

1) Amsoil Series 2000, 0w-30

2) Redline 5w-30, or perhaps even their new 5w-20,
which has a HT/HS viscosity of 3.3 Cp - better than many 10w-30 synthetics

3) Mobil 1R, 0w-30

All these oils have significantly more robust additive chemistries than the garden variety Mobil 1, and the Amsoil/Redline formulations have much lower volatility and are thicker. You'll see better performance and reduced oil consumption with any of these lubes....
