Interesting. I thought some time ago PQIA decided to abandon Noack testing as they didn't find it particularly useful. Sounds like maybe the changed their mind?
I noticed some of the SP oils have phosphorus concentrations just a bit over 800 ppm which is the supposed limit. There must be a bit of leeway allowed, say 5-10%?

And the reason it's capitalized is because it's a proper name, from the developer, Kurt Noack. It was developed at the German PTB, an analog to the US NIST, in the 1930s.
