A recent test shows the Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 has a Nowack of 8.2
And the Cam2 Super Pro Max Synthetic Blend 5w20 has a Nowack of 14.

Looks like THE PETROLEUM QUALITY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA is showing Nowack #s

Interesting. I thought some time ago PQIA decided to abandon Noack testing as they didn't find it particularly useful. Sounds like maybe the changed their mind?

I noticed some of the SP oils have phosphorus concentrations just a bit over 800 ppm which is the supposed limit. There must be a bit of leeway allowed, say 5-10%?

And the reason it's capitalized is because it's a proper name, from the developer, Kurt Noack. It was developed at the German PTB, an analog to the US NIST, in the 1930s.

I've been on Wacker drive many times in Chicago, including lower Wacker.
But I still have to find the elusive lower lower Wacker.
