Do we know the nationality of the pilots? There are a lot of American stick wigglers out there.
No but it is fun and no matter what we on the net thin it doesn't matter , because there will be a thorough investigation and report. .
 
All of the holes lined up in the cheese on this day. Too much power, not enough vessel weight and trying to shortcut the runup procedure led to this mishap. It wasn't a Chinese pilot but a couple of good old boys from Georgia. :)

I'm curious....what do you mean when you say "not enough vessel weight'?
Thrust can overpower tire friction during full-power engine run-up if the airplane is too light. Of course, if the tarmac’s wet, this is exacerbated. Gotta always be looking out the windows to be sure you don’t start moving.

We like to have at least several thousand lbs of fuel weighing the jet down when we run it up (ERJ-170/175/190).
 
Thanks. I thought this happened due to a brake failure during runup, so thought I'd ask. But....they can call it anything they like, I suppose.
