The most dangerous car on the market today is a virtual steel cage of safety compared to the very best cars of 20-25 years ago. Seriously, can you really find any without carefully designed crush-zones, airbags on all sides, seat belt pre-tensioners, and on and on.

Especially if said F-250 is a brodozer, I think lifted trucks are a hazard to all in a crash unless you're in a Freightliner or a Peterbilt. Ford a while ago worked on improving crash compatibility on their trucks, while Honda introduced their ACE structure in the Fit to give it a fighting chance in a crash with bigger cars.
