Surprisingly, even though the engine compartment is very crowded, there is lots of room to fit a longer filter in a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L.

What is the largest filter that can be used? AC Delco PF2?

Thanks,
Keith.

Yes, the PF2 will work, and any equivalents: SuperTech ST8A, Wix 51515, Motorcraft FL1A, Baldwin B2.

I use the ST8A on my Chrysler 300M. The standard filter for my car is the same as for your van.

I just put a NAPA gold 51515 on my 1999 caravan SE with the same engine with no problems - the Fram equivalent is the PH8a or a standard ford 5.0L filter Just ask for an oil filter for a 1993 Ford Mustang with the 5.0HO

Ditto for the Motorcraft FL-1A. Over 2" longer and still plenty of clearance all around. Hope my 97 3.3 minivan will last forever, using synthetic oil and decent filters. Keeping my fingers crossed on the transmission, though it's got 65k miles and all is well.
