Lyrics and a video from "The Storyteller" Tom T. Hall. Mr Hall not only sung this song- but he is also the songwriter.

Enjoy this 2 minute song (video) this Sunday afternoon:

I Love little baby ducks,
Old pickup trucks,
Slow movin' trains - and rain.
I Love little country streams,
Sleep without dreams,
Sunday school in May - and hay.
And I love you too.

I Love - leaves in the wind,
Pictures of my friends,
Birds of the world - and squirrels.
I Love - coffee in a cup,
Little fuzzy pups,
Bourbon in a glass- and grass i inserted this it was missing
Old TV shows- and snowdelete this line
And I love you too.

I Love honest open smiles,
Kisses from a child,
Tomatoes on the vine - and onions.
I Love winners when they cry,
Losers when they try,
Music when it's good - and life.
And I love you too.

Great storyteller-songwriter.

It’s a shame how he left this world.
Wasn't aware of his passing.

Very sad internal demons or the like that pain a person to extremes. At age 85, one will never know the reason, but it may have not been internal demons.

From another Tom T. Hall song:

I remember the year that Clayton Delaney died
They said for the last two weeks that he suffered and cried
It made a big impression on me, although I was a barefoot kid
They said he got religion at the end and I’m glad that he did

I remember the year that Clayton Delaney died

Nobody ever knew it but I went out in the woods and I cried
Well, I know there’s a lotta big preachers that know a lot more than I do
But it could be that the good lord likes a little pickin’ too

Tom T. Hall should be remembered for his music, his manner, and his person. Any other circumstances will always be secondary.

Huh I knew he was gone but never looked at the cause. Some great artist does have demons which makes them good at it unfortunately. I have a pandora channel based on his songs.

Sad ending.
At age 85, I suppose one may not know if the ending was sad. "At 85,ultimately decided to end it on his own terms. There isn’t any loss of dignity in that for anyone, nor should there be."
