Lipid panel, how bad did I screw up with this recipe?

I will say the flavor with this was just ok. Garlic made it palletable.

Chicken Broccoli Fetucine with Garlic and Basil.
-1/2 box of noodles
-2 cups milk
-4oz Neufacatel Cheese
-Add rice flour to ticken as needed.
-Garlic powder onion powder as needed
-1-2 cloves of garlic

Pour sauce over noodles, top with steamed broccoli and chicken.

So will this set me back on blood work?
 
Depends. Are you a producer or absorber? I would say the impact is on your insulin. I would make it the same way except heavy cream instead of milk.
 
Lots of butter and Parmesan type of cheese ,,that is all that is needed for any kind of pasta. Wheat / grains are carbs. carbs do lots of bad stuff insulin and blood thingies related.

Is that a typical example of your diet?
 
The reason I'm asking is because you don't give us enough info to give any meaningful answer to your question.

What's your diet look like in general?
Do you have elevated cholesterol, if so, what is elevated? Total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL?
Is your LDL to HDL ratio usually within spec?
Do you have a genetic predisposition for high Lipo A and or Lipo B - important to know but unfortunately not routinely tested
How soon after this particular meal do you go in for labs?
Do you do fasting labs? Non-fasting lipid panels are unfortunately becoming more common but will skew the triglycerides.

Usually terrible. Subs / Pizza / Sandwiches, but no fast food. Lots of craft beer. Unfortunately my circle of friends like craft beers, and one owns a brewery.

I cleaned up for 6 weeks and now as im nearing the end, I am tired of the rabbit food diet. Typically the triglycerides were elevated into the high range. By doing a clean diet in the past for 6 weeks I was normally able to ace the blood tests.

Because you also say that after eating clean for 6 weeks you were able to ace your lipid panel, I'd say you know what to do. In either content, eating generally clean, one poorly chosen meal will not throw off your lipid panel as long as you do a fasting lipid panel. Do not eat for at least 8 hours or better 12 hours before having blood drawn. Let's say you were to eat a lot of greasy/oily food right before a lipid panel without fasting, your triglycerides would be elevated while this one meal would not really affect your other cholesterol figures which change only slowly over time.

I'm not going to suggest you find new friends. If my friendships were based on people's nutrition and fitness I'd have no more than two friends. Just try to work around it. Your friends should understand if you limit, for example, beer intake, to one beer when you guys hang out.

Diets work great in the short run but diet fatigue is what gets in the way of every long-term diet. There may be people who care so little about food they don't care if they get enjoyment out their food but most people are driven by wants rather than needs. Eveyone should try to find a balance between eating mostly foods that are good for them and the occasional treat that allows them to keep going. That takes willpower.

Triglycierides can be high due to a number of factors, with diet being the obvious one. Other potential factors should be explored with your doctor and include:

alcohol
metabolic disorders
thyroid problems
inflammatory conditions (labs like CRP, ESR, and CBC can show inflammation)
lack of exercise
lack of sleep
medications like beta blockers

And like I said, If you don't do a fasting lipid panel your triglycerides may read high. That's because your body stores excess dietary fat temporarily in your blood in the form of triglycerides.
 
You have carbs in form of the noodles and sugar in milk but if you normally keep your carb intake at 15-20% of your diet, you will be fine.

What is the situation with triglycerides and A1C in your blood work?

EDIT: I see @vavavroom has provided good input on the subject.
