The thing about cologne is that it's cheap compared to how many uses you get out of it. $60 a bottle will last over 1 year of daily use. That's $.16 a day. How can you argue with that!

Yeah, well, it cost the companies a lot less than that to make. Some whale effervescence, some alcohol, and boom, sixty bucks for two ounces. What a scam.

That said, living in The Swamp where I sweat nearly every day, I figure I need something. Old Spice, usually, or one of the knockoffs of Cool Water or Drakkar Noir.

I liked the packaging of Grey Flannel; it made me think of the Thirties and Forties movies with Cary Grant in flannel suits trading smart remarks with Rosalind Russell . . . but it was too pricey. Is it even made any more?
 
There are several colognes that I like the smell of, but I really don't want to smell any of them on myself all day or night.
There are a few guys at work who apparently bathe in the stuff, you can smell them coming, and you do not want to be in an elevator with them, or let them hang their coats near yours.
