Last change I noticed that my Toyota Matrix's engine was a little noisier after I changed the oil(M1 5w30 always). I've put about 6k on the oil already and it seems to have quieted down again. Is there any explanation for this happening(viscosity?) or is it just my imagination?

Hi mkosem. These cars sre easy to tell on because they dont use much sound insulation. On my Vibe GT I stopped using M1 due to noise after the first fill. It seems a bit early but maybe it's thickening back up from oxidation but I suspect it's just the warmer weather quieting the car overall. On my 2zz motor which is harder on oil than yours, the car never quited down in that interval. The Schaeffers/LC I'm using now is working great. Second fill feels better than the first. On the first fill it took a while to free up (always damped and quite). Probably changing chemistry from the RP in previously.
