LC dosage question

Pardon my ignorance but I am a little confused after reading the dosage directions on the Lube Control website.

"2oz per quart of oil for the first 1,000 miles then 2-3 oz every 1,000 there after".

Does this mean I should add 10oz of LC upon intial oil change (5 qts) and then add an additional 2-3 oz every 1,000 miles?

If this is correct will this not result in overfilling?

You are correct about the dosage. However, do not overfill.

The LC apparently dissipates quickly in my vehicles. The oil level is at near full when I add at 1000 miles and at subsequent intervals. It must have a low flash point. No worries with over fill here.
