The Tech 2 goes for about 5k, but you can get them on eBay for around $2500 new on average. I remember years ago when I got mine I originally attempted to go right thru my GM rep at the plant- his "discount price" for me would have been $4600! I went to eBay and got a brand new one for $2195. Don't know what the new PC based unit costs yet.
