larger filter

Hi;
I am changing my oil this weekend. Acura integra 97 automatic.
Is there a larger filter that i can use?

we see in some cases (not all) when using an oversized filter sometimes the filter can be damaged while driving and in some cases your oil can be lost..
I know of two engines that had to be rebuilt because of just that..
We only rebuild engines so i guess if i know of only two that may not be soo bad but is it worth the chance??
Acura engines are good but when you run them dry it's over

Good question. I run a Oversize filter on my Discovery. It is a good size bigger.

ya, i ran a significantly larger oil filter on my 72 power wagon, it had no problem.
