Blackstone Lab agreed to run the samples at no charge of the two additives I used for some recent UOA as they stated they had not seen them before.

Very interesting IMO.
Unless listed everything else was zero
Lube Control
Iron--------1
Calcium-----19
Phosphorus--130
Zinc--------145
Viscosity @210 44.7
Flashpoint 220
They have no idea as to whether it would help or not but feel it will do no harm. They found a trace of insolubles which they feel should not be there. Storage contamination????

#132
Moly-------20
Calcium----25
Phosphorus-50
Zinc-------18
Now the fun part.
This took 41 minutes for the sample to move through the viscosity tube at 210 degrees, It gets thicker as it heats up which accounts for my viscosity increase using the Brew.
Viscosity at 210------ 1106.8
Flashpoint--- 385

However, using the Brew and LC does seem to improve my wear metals so whatever obviously does not show up in analysis????

These were not mixed together as in the Brew but individaul samples of each.

Spector,

Thanks for taking the time to have this done for us. Very interesting. Also Thanks to Blackstone for doing these. As a BITOG Site Sponsor, they have been super to us.

Not to worry, it's the dyes.

The #132 also has about 65 ppm of antimony from the SbDTC additive.

Both products have a lot of stuff you won't see in these types of analyses.
