The other day my neighbor said his Toro Lawn Mower would not start.

I removed the carb and shot the carb orifices with Seafoam spray.

The vertical tube that dips into the float bowl (with the primary jet) must have been the one gummed up since it took three shots of Seafoam before it cleared.

Replaced the carb, put about 1/4 tank of fuel in it, fired up and it ran just fine.

The other day the neighbor sent over a gift card for Olive Garden, which I did not expect, since I was simply fixing a problem for him and was not expecting any enumeration.

SO Sunday I took my honey to Olive Garden for lunch.

Very nice of him, and of course it was kind of you to lend a helping hand.

Put a fuel shut off on it, and let that carb run dry will help a lot with the gumming up problems.

You nailed it.

He later told me he left unstabilized fuel in the mower all winter. When I took off the carb bowl there were water droplets in it as well.

I was wondering why he had hired a lawn service during the late spring and early summer.
