Randomly came up in my YT recs tonight, and I've actually ridden this same stretch of track but going in the other direction. I remember being incredibly impressed with the quietness and smoothness even at 300km/h. Deutsche Bahn does need to work on timeliness however. Either way, for train lovers thought this was a nice watch. Japan is usually what you think of when you think of high speed trains, but ICE is no slouch either. Really makes me wish Amtrak in general and Acela in perticular weren't such embarassments.
