1992-1995 Honda Civic engine, if I have my years right

yes, the dreaded Z1, its soooo slow and one of the weakest engines in the D-Block class, and i happen to have one in my car, now i was wondering if its worth keeping, i like the body on my car, but i wouldn't look forward to shelling out 2K to replace my engine. Any suggestions? :sign4:
