I'm not vegan by any stretch of the imagination but Alton Brown's mooless chocolate pie always disappears at Thanksgiving and Holiday get togethers and parties.Anybody have any killer Thanksgiving side dish recipes they want to share? I'm doing the spread on my own this year.
1 16oz block silken tofu
1 16oz bag semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
2-3 tablespoons of BlackBerry, raspberry or apricot preserves
1-2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
1 shot glass (2-4 ounces) espresso
1) Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler till completely melted
2) put silken tofu, chocolate, preserves, vanilla extract, and espresso into a blender. Blend till completely mixed together.
3) Pour into your favorite pie shell ie Graham crackers, oreo crust etc.
4) Refrigerate overnight and serve for dessert
