Kirkland 5w-30, 13k miles, Chrysler Sebring 2.7l, 153k miles

The only "relatively good" OCI was the 9500 mile one. I really don't understand your criteria for further extending from there, and the results weren't very good, yet you kept on with it. Maybe TBN alone was the only consideration? I dunno, but I'd try a reset at 5K personally with the R&P. And check your air filter along with the rest of the intake hoses.

My first Sebring, a 97, bought new, scrapped @ 231k miles.
Second an 04, bought with 103k, scrapped at 239k
Third an 06, bought with 123k, sold with 254k and still going AFAIK.
Transmission failure killed the first two.
That's impressive.

Actually, my dad bought a '99 Sebring convertible in 2001.

It was a rental car, and he drove it until his passing in 2018 and was the very definition of short tripped to death! It had like 85k miles or so. The oil was changed less than 10 times probably...he was bad about that.

Had an electrical gremlin and looked like it had been to h e double hockey sticks and back, but ran ok otherwise...
