KIA OEM 26300-35505 Dented new filter cut open

Finally got a proper oil filter cutter on amazon for cheap. I had this uncut in the trash and thought I would break in the cutter. Most likely I could have used this filter with no issue. The leaf spring seemed unaffected by the dent, however did not want to risk it a few weeks ago. Filter is great build quality. This is the best filter for kia OR the Mann clone in black.

It's a decent MANN-HUMMEL product.

One thing I forgot to mention. This is one heavy baseplate. Almost as if the base plate is heavier than the rest of the filter.

IIRIC, Mann had 3 factory in Korea that made those filters, same as black Mann W811/80 filter internally. I run Mann last few years, bought from RA.
