Kendall Oil - why so hard to find?

Yep! BigLots.

Here, it's 5W30 and 10W40 for $1.90 a quart, SM-rated. I guess if you're hurting for Kendell it's ok, but is the stuff any better than Advanced Auto's house brand for $1.58 for the same Vis and SM rating?

At my BigLots, Kendal semi-syn is 1.90 per quart. At Walmart, TropArtic semi-syn is 1.58.

So far i've not seen Kendal 100% Synthetic anywhere.

I've used quite a bit of TropArtic, but if the price gets close to Havoline, i'm left wondering which is the better overall value...
